Take
Down Model 70 Style...

We worked long and hard to develop a
takedown bolt gun
we could be proud to offer. Here it is.
This
rifle features a shotgun latch in the forearm that allows you simple disassembly
in the field. There are no parts to loose, no tools needed to remove or
switch
barrels. Simply pull down the latch and it will lock open. Unscrew
the full thread barrel (for strength, durability, and accuracy).
The locking system consists of a tapered pin that will quickly
align and lock the barrel to the receiver. No guess work, just a simple,
tough system that works every time.
We
selected the best quality parts for your takedown. Note the one piece
trigger guard, eliminates the center screw on the Model 70 and improves the
finished look. The shotgun latch is carfully inletted and nicely detailed
to improve the overall look of the rifle. The rifle below has a drop box
magazine, this alows you to have 5 rounds in the magazine in stead of the
Factory 3 rounds.

Ideal for travel, a takedown can fit in a small space, or a tool chest type case that is much less noticeable when traveling. Great for small planes and pack trips.
You
can add as many barrels as you like. Any length action can be used, pre or
post 64, Blue or Stainless. QD scope mounts or a Scout Scope, barrel
mounted can really offer you a wide variety of option for all hunting
situations. Some folks want Iron sights on one barrel and a scope on the
other to match the quarry or the cartridge in question.
The idea behind our takedown is accuracy coupled with convenience
for travel. A wide range of capabilities can be encompassed in one rifle
with two or more barrels. How about a 458 Lott and a 300 Ultra. Or a
25-06 and a 375 Hawk/Scovill. You probably already have your ideal
combination of calibers in mind, maybe a mix of the WSM cartridges. We
will be glad to help with the details. Email
us with your questions.
